Bijoy Sarani- Tejgaon Railway Overpass – built by ScanCement

A new railway overpass named Bijoy Sarani- Tejgaon Railway Overpass has been built
under direct supervision of RAJUK to reduce the traffic jam of Dhaka city and to
connect west and east side of the city. It was built prior to specific time period
and less than estimated budget. Honorable Prime minister of Republic of Bangladesh
Sheikh Hasina inaugurated this overpass on April 20, 2010.
The length of this overpass is 669 metres and width 18.29 metres. There is two-lane
based carriageway in the both side of the 60 feet width road.
It is to be mentioned that this overpass is exclusively built by ScanCement.
ScanCement and RubyCement are International standard product of German based multinational
company HeidelbergCement Group.
